VCSTIMELESS is acquired by Cegid Group
Leading software solutions provider, VCSTIMELESS has been acquired by Cegid Group. The agreement signed between Cegid Group and the UK company Flintshell Ltd in view of acquiring VCSTIMELESS has been finalised. With this transaction, the two companies combined, VCSTIMELESS/Cegid now become one of Europe’s leading software solutions providers for the speciality retail sector.
Created in 1983, Cegid Group is the leading French provider of enterprise management solutions. Cegid is included in the European Top 10, with more than 2,000 employees and €241.1 million in annual sales.
The new retail division represents 1,000 retailers and 20,000 stores across 62 countries, 350 staff and revenues of more than €45M, 30% of which is generated from the international markets.
VCSTIMELESS’ customer base will now benefit from exciting new technologies
VCSTIMELESS’ prospects and customers can now benefit from new technologies and services and combined expertise in consulting, training, technical assistance and customer service. In addition to VCSTIMELESS’ existing merchandise planning, merchandise management, supply chain optimisation, store and business intelligence solutions, they can now offer an extensive range of applications to support their customers’ growing requirements, including manufacturing, sourcing, purchasing, finance and HR as well as on demand and Saas offers.
Stronger international presence and support for VCSTIMELESS’ customers
As a result of this acquisition, VCSTIMELESS can offer its customers stronger international support and assistance as they are now directly present in 10 countries via the subsidiaries, which include UK, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Japan, China, Singapore, USA and Morocco. VCSTIMELESS also has an extensive business partner network in place to support their customers where they are not directly present.
