Maximising
revenue from prime-location stores
With an annual turnover of 110 million euros,
Rip Curl is opening new stores at a rate of one per
month and significantly developing its European franchise
operation. To keep pace with this ambitious expansion
strategy, in December 2006, Rip Curl selected VCSTIMELESS’ Colombus
Enterprise head office and Colombus
Retail store management solutions.

From the UK to the
Ukraine
VCSTIMELESS offered
Rip Curl integrated and functionally-rich solutions
which extend from head office to store, adapted
to manage both owned-store and franchise formats.
Also key to their decision-making was VCSTIMELESS’ proven
expertise and experience and hundreds of client
references in the fashion and sportswear sector.
In addition, Rip Curl found VCSTIMELESS to be
the only speciality retail software provider capable
of deploying and supporting solutions in its 10
target countries: France, UK, Spain, Portugal,
Italy, Switzerland, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and
Morocco. The project pilot began in France, in
February 2007. From September 2007, the project
will extend to the rest of Rip Curl’s European
portfolio.

solutions will enable us to closely manage our
retail activity,
in particular our stocks, replenishment, promotions,
markdowns and forecasts, and provide us with detailed
performance analysis. By optimising our retail chain
we expect to increase our margin in 2007 by 2 percent,
without the need for massive recruitment."
